What happened exactly with this misspress? A side if single version of Power of Rock and B side is just the normal 12" B-Side?

I've not a clue, personally, but I wouldn't imagine it going for huge amounts. Even the mispressing with Little Lady and Paper Plane as the B-Sides doesn't go for much anymore. They've been cropping up a far bit recently, and I managed to get a hold of my copy for well under £50

I've not a clue, personally, but I wouldn't imagine it going for huge amounts. Even the mispressing with Little Lady and Paper Plane as the B-Sides doesn't go for much anymore. They've been cropping up a far bit recently, and I managed to get a hold of my copy for well under £50 Popsike lists this one as being sold for £120 and £150 for the other one at one point, only the pressing with Little Lady seems to be showing as sold recently on Ebay. Where have they been cropping up if not on Ebay? |

I'm guessing some people on Ebay who put buy it now prices on, don't know a records real worth. I wouldn't sell the version with Little Lady & Paper Plane.

Thinking deeper are many of these mis pressings purely accidental or someone in the production plant craftily slipping a few copies out for a prank ? Not just Quo but many artists..

There's been one LL/PP sold on Discogs in its history, given away for £15 because there was no previous sales data so the muppet owner massively lowballed it. That does not set a valid precedent of any kind  Neither does the halfwit who sold their MADDOX 18 for £16! There hasn't been a TPOR/TPOR mispress sold on Discogs ever. Haven't seen either on ebay in years but I could have missed them if they weren't listed properly. As far as I'm concerned it's still an easy £100+ for LL/PP and £50+ for TPOR/TPOR. The latter is arguably rarer but the former has traditionally commanded the higher price as it contains unreleased versions. |
