Awesome gigs, took me back to 1979 the first time I saw the greatest band ever. Alan's voice was fantastic. RIP Alan & Rick.

10 years ago eh? I was a young whipper snapper in my 50s then! What a fantastic time to have been a Quo fan. I shall cherish those memories for ever, fantastic gigs, fantastic crowd!

If Quo / management had a braincell between them, they could've used this anniversary to broadcast the footage from each show onto YouTube and have them available for a week or so. Obviously the only gigs not filmed were Hammersmith due to it being more expensive than the other venues to shoot in

Hearing (and so my neighbours!) the concert as I'm writing. Oh baby at the moment. I wish I could be on just one of the gigs. But...

One of my biggest regrets is not going to that first one in Manchester I remember how buzzing we were on the message board waiting for posts! The excitement was immense!

I'd love to have done them all, but I got to Hammy once on each tour & that was enough for me

One of my biggest regrets is not going to that first one in Manchester I remember how buzzing we were on the message board waiting for posts! The excitement was immense! I'm the same. But the problem with the Manchester gig was that originally it wasn't the first. I think Glasgow was. But they added another Manchester after I'd got tickets for several others and shoved it in at the beginning. I was skint by then It was a bit disappointing though. But that's management and promoters for you. Them first, fans second

Them first, fans second I dare say there were folk who made extensive, and expensive, travel plans to be at the 'first' gig, a historic moment, only to be disappointed as you say.

I remember the rumour going round about the first track played - it was an odd choice (trying to remember) but of course turned out to be false.

Obviously the only gigs not filmed were Hammersmith due to it being more expensive than the other venues to shoot in Or at least put a post on Social Media "Remember 10 years ago when our original line-up played together for the first time in 32 years?" But they don't want anything to do with it (anymore), obviosuly. Then again, not even JC, who posts regulary did anything. I was at that first gig in Manchester and can be seen jumping up and down with all the sweaty hair in front of my face during Rickys part in DWMT in the video linked here Originally I booked Glasgow (10th) as it was the first show - but when they added Manchester I knew I had to be there. Being a student at the time I had to pump my Dad for money (as I had to do with the other tickets as well). Luckily he is a massive Quo fan, too, and the reason I got into the band so he lent me some. In all honesty, I'm pretty sure I never gave it back (couldn't at the time) and he knows it, but was and is happy for me. He accompanied me to London 10 days after and had the time of his life - as did all of us. If you're interested, here's my write-up from the German message board:

I think it was Margurita Time, as Alan wanted it in the set!!
