could have sworn I'd seen them on discogs for a bit less, but prices may have risen since

The first one seems to be the rarer one.

Strange decision to use the Thinking Of You CD Single cover as the cover for the 7" in box number 5, these singles are supposed to replicate the originals so the picture disc picture should've been used (in my opinion). Also the album version seems to have been used rather than the radio mix, yet another strange decision, and don't get me started on the paper covers.

These box are fine to get if they are in good prices (like when I got the 00s for 30€ (new!) or the two 80s (like 50€ each, new too), or presents (the 90s was a christmas present), but that's it. The paper covers are a thing (also the images used for the covers (Did you see the different red color on the spaces of the letters from Rock 'til You Drop? Why is that there? Even my 12" copy is better) or not very well definited covers (that goes for ALL the covers)). But, for example, the singles from the Under the Influence for me were a miss. Sea Cruise is better than the "album trailer" on the Way it Goes, but, I would prefer to replicate the cassette version, that goes to the Little White Lies too. And Mony Mony using Gerdundula, and then, replicate the vinyl version of The Party Ain't Over Yet and also use another version of Gerdundula? They could put the Famous on the Mony Mony B-Side and then we can get another new song on vinyl.
I only heard the 00s box once, but I think that they used the radio mixes for TOY and Y'llCR, but now I'm not so sure (I have the originals so I don't really care).
My box of the 2nd part of the 80s contains a misspressed Red Sky single. The B side is correct, but the A Side was Naughty Lady again.

Talking of mispresses, I bought a Quo cassette single in the early 90's and it contains a different song entirely! They only had one track on them back then and instead of (I think) Anniversary Waltz Part 2, I was blessed with Timmy Mallett singing Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Haw yeah I doubt it was a one-off though.

I wonder who found their chart position boosted by your purchase - Mallett or Quo?

There are also errors in the booklet, like stating You'll Come 'Round was the first single on Vinyl for 18 years when in fact it was 8 years.

Funny thing is, I never took it back and I never went out and bought the Quo single again so I had the right one. Must have been in a mood

Discovered on the way home in the parents car when I put the tape to play the single. Rather on the disappointing side, and I think I had to wait about a week until I was back in Edinburgh and able to exchange it. With regards to the Rock 'Til You Drop single. I'm sure from memory, my 12" copy has an edited version of Forty Five Hundred Times listed as being on the b-side. But it isn't actually there. Is just the Brits Medley.
