This English band, The Treatment, supported The Frantic Four during some of the 2013/14 reunion tour dates.

Dirty Honey - 1 EP and 1 album, currently on their first headline tour of Europe. Saw them in January, absolutely amazing. Big things to come I hope.
Electric Mary - I only discovered them end of 2022 but decent amount of back catalogue to get your teeth into.
The Casanovas - Not a new band, like The Darkness been around 20 years plus but still kicking around and they should be much bigger than they area.

Three great choices Powerage! Really enjoyed those tracks. Must investigate further.
p.s. The Electric Mary vocalist sounds a dead-ringer for a young Rod Stewart. Amazing voice!

That's a beauty 👍 Royal Blood are another that have been going a wee while. A bit more innovative than most, which is what often appeals to me. It's also great to see innovative (there's that word again) videos like this. I wish Quo had been as artistic but that side was never taken seriously.

Greasy Tree are from Arkansas and have made a couple of albums of cool, laidback funky, indie type blues songs, in the same vein perhaps as The Black Keys. Here's one of their tracks, from 2016, that I like.

Brighton-based band The Heavy Heavy are currently making waves in the music world. Retro late 60s/early 70s in style, yet full of youthful energy and enthusiasm. This is from their inaugural 2022 EP Life and Life Only.

Tracer were an Australian hard-rock band who released three albums and toured extensively in Oz and Europe before folding in 2018. This track is from 2011 and gives a taste of their aggressive rock style.

Formed in Derby a decade ago, The Struts are bringing that good-time rock and roll sound to a new audience. They've released three albums and have even broken into the US charts. This clip gives you a taste of where they're at....

Another three album band, Glasgow's 'The Temperance Movement' are keeping some of the old flame lit. Unfortunately, Covid blew their activities out of the water, with the lead singer going in 2020, leaving them in hiatus ever since. A pity, cause they sound great!

I saw them a few times in the last decade. Phil Campbell seems to be returning to rather more mellow material since his departure from the band & setting up his new band : The Byson Family. I struggle to see how The Temperance Movement can continue without him, tbh, as he was such a distinctive singer & a real live wire on stage too. Perhaps they're still looking for a replacement!

Three young Velez sisters from Monterey in Mexico, calling themselves The Warning, certainly know how to rock. Here they are, last month, in The Netherlands. Brilliant sound.

Quo tribute band Dog of Two Head released an album of original songs last year, which I've only recently discovered. Called All Aboard, it features an interesting, if formulaic, mix of classic shuffle, boogie and blues tracks, with the Quo sound well to the fore. Here's one that I like.
