The first time I post in this section, and with good reason: my band will be performing live for the first time too. We call ourselves Loopy Sue and have been rehearsing, on and off, for so many years without actually performing on stage. This evening that will change. We have a setlist of 12 songs, all originals penned by myself and a close friend, who provided the musical ideas whereas I wrote the lyrics and vocal melodies. I'm going to sing my heart out tonight, but at the moment I'm extremely nervous. If any of you happen to be in Antwerp tonight, please come and support us, although the pub we're playing will be packed. Wish me well!

I only just saw this post, I hope you had an absolute blast and that it's the first of many live gigs for your band. Sharing the music that comes from your heart with an audience is the best feeling in the world.

The audience was unanimous in their praise. I felt like the king of the world up there. I want more.

Looking rather macho in the pic but I approve of the shirt Separated at birth? The receding hairline and us both wearing a shirt? In fairness that's where the comparison ends. I really love his voice (wasn't he in Uriah Heep for a while?) The only singer I know of whose powerful voice would match Ronnie's.

Those two tracks sound great! Looking rather macho in the pic but I approve of the shirt 'Into the Wild' was obviously inspired by that heartbeaking film. 'Your Evil Ways' is a pleasant ditty about an incubus. As for the stage attire, highly influenced by Quo: flares, an earring (Francis) for melody and a wristband (Alan) for power.
