For those that can never pick the bass out of a song (I know there are a few!), this highlights Alan's great bass work and how it was a crucial aspect of the classic Quo sound. The bass on Living on an Island is very very well done, I'm just an old guitarist, but I've listened to the bass in thay track 100s of times, just outstanding. An incredibly underrated bassplayer, that made the difficult look easy. I Miss Alan still. |
