Quo re-imagined? Interesting. It's been done before of course. If it's like this, I'd sit up and take notice

Great news! It was the bass player, Paul Jeffries who he mentioned in the June interview.
So pleased for John, even if I can't be there.

He does like his colourful shirts. He had another excellent one for after his London gig in July this year. All reds and flowers.

My jazz musician friend just sent me this, knowing I'm a Quo fan Photos from this gig. This is from photographer Ron Milsom's fb page which went with the photos. "I like a bit of jazz rock, but this was something special. John Coghlan (ex Status Quo) entered the world of jazz! With new arrangements of Quo songs and bags of energy, this really was a unique and exciting concert. Was it Rockin' All Over The World? It certainly was! The audience loved it to bits!"

I'd really liked to have been at that So would I! I really enjoyed the alternative middle section of his last JCQ tour set. And I hadn't realised that for this gig, they were all going to be Quo songs jazzed up. But that does make more sense to me now.

As with the Jazz Sabbath thing, I wonder if any consideration has been given to making a recording. I guess it all depends on interest and finance.

I imagine it will be cringeworthy stuff.
