Ooh, matron. What a trendsetter! Too short trousers, no socks and moccasins? Decades ahead of his time  Is that a genuine photo though? I don't recall Sid James having a particularly slim physique. I'd also have expected flares in them days. Wide ones! Mind you, he is on a bike. Dangerous that. You don't want your chopper getting caught in the hem of your loons  |

I remember Robin Askwith. Titillation for a teenager, especially with people like Jill Gascoigne getting their kit off  A lot of regular - and respected - British actors and comedians, from TV in particular, starred in those things. Must have kept the wolves from the door I guess. As for Clint there; it looks like it might be Paris or somewhere but there's an advert for American newspapers in the background. But I'm wondering if that's L'Olympia in the faded distance on the right hand side. I really need to get out more!  |
