Thanks for sharing that. What a gent John is. Looking forward to see him again next month.
And then the jazz adventures later in the year. I'm intrigued.

"We probably will come back as JC Quo and do some more of the Quo stuff".
So in true Quo style, it's not the end of the road?!

Enjoyed the interview, the interviewer knows his stuff. I managed to get to one of JC's Quo gigs in recent times. A shame that watching Crystal Palace FC as a youngster put John off football for life!
I wonder how much John remembers about his time with 'Partners in Crime' after leaving Quo. Would genuinely like to know more about that time from his perspective and any memories of recording 'We Are The Boys' with Chas Hodges and Phil Lynott and the background to recording 'The Xmas Song' with Bramble.
The Jazz project sounds like something out of Spinal Tap (MKII!) and the Jazz Odyssey but I will be first in the queue for tickets as and when.

Nice. But the interviewer asked one too many “I heard about this anecdote from 60 years ago. Is it true”

Just watched this and agree it was a good interview! John’s memory obviously not the best but he seemed very relaxed! Nice to hear his story about Buddy Rich! The interviewer needs to ask Luke about the Live recordings! He seems to be the oracle at the moment!

Is it my imagination or have the Coghlans got a Quo book on the shelf there? Looks like a book spine with the Quo logo/font on it - Just For The Record biog? (prob the worst one of the lot!)
