QUO"s version is superior, of course. They even did a ROCK version of WSOL which appears as a bonus track on BLUE FOR YOU cd.
Rod's version is lacking in general.
When Rod lives up to his name as Rockin' Rod it is on tracks such as " Hot Legs " & " Stone Cold Sober " & " Every Picture Tells A Story ( Don't It ) " Maggie May " " You Wear It Well ", though in general he doesn't rock very much at all. He's more of a Crooner, nothing wrong with that at all.
One thing I lament about QUO's legacy is that their SINGLES don't reflect to the public the true essence of the band. I'm not going to list all of them, I'm sure QUO supporters know which album tracks could've been successful charting singles and as a topic it's probably been addressed on this forum site already.
