Always has been a huge favourite number of mine.   The melody, the guitar interplays, Rossi's vocal and of course Alan's bass line.  It was modern Quo but in a good way.  Different, but fresh and exciting.  I would say his last really great number he wrote for Quo, although I don't mind Ol' Rag.   40 odd years ago that was.  Nuts!  Still can't believe he has left us.  His image and music is simply too embedded into my mind and memory to feel otherwise.
