Might just fly in from Sydney to join the Minehead gig, being the last one (I'll build it around a work trip ). I saw him at his last Quo gig at Southampton in 81 and of course the last reunion gig at Dublin in 14 and now his last ever gig in Sept 22. Age catches up with us all doesn't it. There is no 'might' about it, get yourself over here in September. I was at the Southampton Gaumont for John's final gigs, on June 2nd & 3rd before the 13/14 reunion.

Thank you John and the lads for playing a bit of classic 70s Quo in the way it should. The band rekindled my interest.
Notice that Leeds on the 12th Feb isnt listed anymore ? that in all probability was to be my last ever Quo gig
if it has gone then it was a cracking hot 'n sweaty gig in Hull. Thanks for the memories and enjoy your retirement.

His first EOTR tour? He can fit a few more in. Let's see, he can row out the other blokes with a letter and then nick any advance money draw down on record company funds, he can get an accordion and then come back again without..er..drums, he can have a Last Night On The Sticks and then come back again,he can get himself out of his own curated archives and return and view himself through a prism and last of all he can have a reunion with the blokes whose money he nicked who were once the original band and THEN call it a day. Very well said A nice 'dig' to someone there. And well deserved too

On Spuds FB site , Rick Chase has confirmed that in order to look after John they cancelled the distant gigs (they travel in a transit van) hence why Leeds ,Morecambe etc no longer appear on The Farewell Tour.
He is ok, but as Rick says he is 76 this year.
Looks like I may have been to my last ever Quo gig .... unless
if John cannot travel to see me I will have to go travel to see him. One more time eh?

Minehead.. the obvious choice. As there's no Northern gigs that's where I'll be seeing him for the last ever time.🤔 Plus it's a fantastic weekend 😊

Alas, nothing further north than Solihull. Ach well, never mind. Seen him before Mind you, the Half Moon is a good gig. And fairly easy to get to. For us Neanderthal non-drivers. Hmm.... You could take the Avanti West Coast train from Edinburgh to Milton Keynes

Just a thought but wouldn’t it be a natural fit for Francis to come along to his final gig. Maybe even a few of the post drummers of Quo turn up in respect. John Coghlan is a legend.

That would be the classy thing to do, but we're talking Quo here. I think Alan and Rick would have made the effort, but I doubt Francis will. If he proves me wrong, I will gladly kiss his white shoes, but I'm not holding my breath.
