This needs to be re-released on DVD such a strong energetic performance a good release package would be this and knebworth in a deluxe release CD/DVD combo
CD 1 & 2 Knebworth 90 and Live Alive Quo DVD - Both performances on the DVD - With interviews from that era from those 2 shows & new look back interviews with Andy,Francis, Jeff & Rhino with Archive Rick interview footage
extra concert footage - Minehead 90 without the graphics on screen would be a good release for £30 shame it will never happen

I sent in the tracklisting for it well over a year ago and there has been total radio silence since. I don't think much exists of Minehead without the graphic overlays. There's a sub-edit, but even that has interviews during certain songs. The only untouched songs really are; Caroline, Mystery Medley, Down Down, Dirty Water, Whatever You Want, In The Army Now, Don't Waste My Time, Roadhouse Medley and Burning Bridges. Hold You Back and Rockin' still have brief interruptions during the intros, but other than that they are fine. These uploads I'm doing of Live Alive Quo are how I envisioned the Deluxe release. Correct running order, no cut audio (besides a bit of crowd noise being trimmed between Roadhouse Medley and Caroline. The artwork on the video as well is how I wanted the "new" artwork to look for the deluxe release (sort of how they redid the Live At The NEC artwork). Bit of a throwback to the VHS design, and giving it a bit of colour. Rick recorded a brief message prior to the Sutton Park show - "Hello everybody at Polydor, on behalf of everybody in the band we hope you have a nice time today. Sorry we can't be there with you but we've got a bit of a show to do for Radio 1 here, so we'll see you soon." Captured by the camera that followed the band up the ramp and to backstage prior to them going on. Alan Freeman is also running through what he is going to say when announcing Quo onto the stage. Disc 1 - Live Alive Quo Whatever You Want In The Army Now Burning Bridges Rockin' All Over The World Roadhouse Medley Caroline ------Wembley Arena, 16th Dec. 1990------ Little Lady Hold You Back Don't Drive My Car Disc 2 - Knebworth Park, 30th June 1990 & Offenbach Stadthalle, 6th April 1992 (2 Unreleased Shows) Caroline Mystery Medley Hold You Back Dirty Water Whatever You Want In The Army Now Rockin' All Over The World Don't Waste My Time Roadhouse Medley ------------------------------ Down Down (cuts in during first verse) Roll Over Lay Down One Man Band Disc 3 - Offenbach (cont.) Mystery Medley Dirty Water Whatever You Want In The Army Now Rockin' All Over The World Don't Waste My Time Roadhouse Medley Burning Bridges Rock 'til You Drop The Anniversary Waltz Bye Bye Johnny (The Encore Medley) Gutted that nothing ever happened. Heavy Traffic would have been a belter of a release also - but I'll save that for another time.

That would of been an instant buy for me if that got released The Offenbach show is a fairly decent mix as well, and definitely not straight from the desk feed as the crowd are audible - so they must've been mic'd. A shame neither Fakin' The Blues or No Problems were in the set for this show, as it would be great to have pro-recordings of them. Also quite gutted they dropped Hold You Back as well, bizarrely. Francis fucks up massively during The Anniversary Waltz and it makes me cringe. Misses the cue to go into I Hear You Knocking and carries on with The Wanderer.

Only thing that ever annoyed me about this gig was the snare drum sound. Sounds like you're hitting a sheet of A4 paper for some reason Caroline was fast though... Usain Bolt fast
