I loved watching this! It was a real privilege to be a fly on the wall, like having a time machine! To see them writing and developing those songs was amazing... Surreal to hear snippets of something (amazingly, pun not originally intended but completely correct !), and we’d know it but they didn’t yet! I hope when the dvd is released they will have bonus features of the complete songs from the album. In the doc, sometimes the subtitles stated that ‘this version was the one on the album’, but they only showed excerpts…. It would be amazing to have the complete songs as they were recorded in a visual album! I would love to see something like this from the magic circle days of Quo! Probably nothing in existence but would be great!

The likes of Let It Be and Two of Us (this take is the one that appears on Let It Be) featured fully in the original Let It Be doc. As you say, I'm hoping they appear in full on the DVD release

Gee, I make the 3 'TV episodes' at 467 minutes total - looks like that 'Leaked DVD' is timed at 9 minutes less!!? Let's hope it's not going to be what it looks like it's gonna be, then! 🤔

I would love to see something like this from the magic circle days of Quo! Probably nothing in existence but would be great! Correct. The only studio footage from the 70's is a short snippet of Rick, Francis and Pip running through Accident Prone. Featured on a TV special called Musikbox. However, I wouldn't say no to a re-cut of The Party Ain't Over Yet doc if John Keeling was up for it. Ditch the archival material / interviews from the original documentary and focus moreso on the studio aspect of them recording the new album.

Ah - that was great! Never seen it before - really great to see/hear ITABW, I've had it rattling around in my head all day and then, whaddya know, here it is!! Used to have that poster, like the one behind CJ, on my wall years ago!

And the director really knew his Quo: especially during ITABW the cameras were pointing in the right direction, singling out the correct band member each time. It used to piss me off when cameras were for instance focusing on a rhythm or bass guitar while some guitar hero was giving it his all.

and now there's this... [dunno what it means for us mere mortals - will it be JUST the performance or will it still have the interruptions, will it make it to hard-copy release etc etc?]

Unfortunately sold out at the London IMAX but hopefully might have a chance later, fingers crossed….? ‘A global theatrical engagement of the 60-minute feature, “The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert,” will then run February 11-13, 2022.’
