Odd that someone should post a song what they think is utter garbage but here you are 😛 Others may disagree so will create a fair debate. I can defend this album to a certain extent but this is the worst example of Quo going full 80s not sure what they were trying to do here really..

Time has not been kind
Was never my thing, but I'd just got my first CD player. This sounded impressive on my system. I know I know... it was a long time ago!

Possibly the worst song they ever released. Appalling.

It has that mid 80s zz top (Legs???) circa “Eliminator/Afterburner” production feel without the Rock n roll to go with it too much going on in the mix. I don’t blame pip Williams as he was just following orders.

I have to say... I was about 5 years without listening to Quo, after listening to the everyday. It was after Bula Quo, when Aquostic appeared. This hiatus was not related to those albums. but after those 5 years, I just felt a urge to listen to Quo again. And this song was the song I was really wanting to hear ahah and then the whole Ain't Complaining album. Great album, decent production, typical of its time (or a couple of years before), yes. But I'm glad Quo tried this and managed to pull through, to this day. It would be very dull if they only played the same kind of songs. When I get tired of listening to 70s Quo, I know I can still listen to Quo. And vice-versa. Sometimes I'm more into their 70's, sometimes into their late 70s/early 80s. Other times 80s; 90s; etc.. But, thanks to Quo, I know I can be always into Quo. I can't say the same for any other band.

Miami Vice meets Status Quo. Never like it. Recently I bought a cassette tape of Ain't Complaining, and, magically, the tape got chew in this particular song (and the B-Side in that moment was Who Gets the Love...Another one that I don't like). Coincidence? Don't know.
Also, don't like it, but I don't hate it. This is not one of the very few songs that I skip.

I really don't really dislike many Quo songs that much, but this one I never ever got. A low point for me.
