Bit of a surprise this one when I first heard it. Very laid back. This is maybe going to sound a bit silly, but the verses remind me a little of Billy Connolly in one of his more serious country/folk moments. And the outro is an even bigger surprise that you don't see coming. It's excellent this. 9/10

One of the best Status Quo songs recorded post Alan.
I do enjoy it the few times I play it.

I don’t usually analyse Quo lyrics in depth but this sounds like the song referring to the relationship between Francis and Bob going back to their original spit working together but could be wrong. Nice little laid back ballad the jam at the end quite unexpected and all better for it.

Love this one, I find I go back and listen to it more than most. I don't think I even have a copy of it, How very annoying of them to leave it off the UK album.

From memory it’s the b-side to All that counts is love *shudder*
This has got early 70s vibes to it. Nice.

B-side to All Stand Up.
Good to hear that they were using more acoustic piano on the Heavy Traffic sessions. There is definitely a bit of piano sustain at the end of All Stand Up, and obviously all through this track too.
I'll be in the minority on this one then and say it doesn't do anything for me.

Also the last note of Rhythm of Life it's from a real piano. The sustain note lasted like half a minute or so.
