Don't know why but i like this one. I don't know why either I can almost tear it to bits because it contains all the elements that I really don't like during this period. They're all sort of encapsulated in this one song. Musically, that is. Lyrically it's not bad. But that becomes academic if the noise accompanying it makes you turn it off. The key seems too high for Francis to sing it comfortably; the mirroring of synth and guitar at the start is a hideous noise; even more so given that the guitar sounds just that little bit off key. But I'm no musician so it's probably my ears It then plods along in that archetypal Quo fashion but without any of the drive with the rhythm guitar in particular so far down the mix Rick needn't have bothered. Mind you, on this album, he probably didn't Like the vast majority of Thirsty Work, the material is possibly OK but the arrangements (and production?) remove any chance of me enjoying it. Not great - 3/10

I can get why you might strangely like it
I can imagine it being slowed right down, lower key, no keyboards and really heavy. The treatment is all wrong but you can imagine.
Used to be a bit like that with who am I, imagining it was heavier than it was. Along came the remix and I loved it
