Great shout, Quoincidence . Great idea So many songs played live but only briefly and never recorded for posterity. It's great to hear these two because they'd long gone by the time I saw them in May 1979. Others that stick in my mind that I did see are I Saw The Light and Nightride; Mad About The Boy; Rockers Rollin' and You Don't Own Me; and Oh, What A Night (of course). And then there are those from the Rock 'til You Drop, Thirsty Work and Under The Influence tours. It's a long list - longer than you'd think. But a project SO worth doing. Nice one. Need Your Love Down The Dustpipe (April) Spring, Summer And Wednesdays Umleitung Spinning Wheel Blues I Saw The Light Nightride Most Of The Time (although played on the Reunion tours, it was played different to how it was played in '75 - mid '77) Mad About The Boy Rockers Rollin' (?) You Don't Own Me (?) Oh! What A Night (?) Come Rock With Me (?) Rockin' On (?) Rock N' Roll Dear John Save Me Overdose Dreamin' (?) Who Gets The Love (?) Cream Of The Crop (?) Little Dreamer Perfect Remedy The Power Of Rock (?) Like A Zombie Fakin' The Blues No Problems Let's Work Together The Price Of Love Can't Give You More Queenie Goin' Nowhere (?) Soft In The Head (?) Rude Awakening Time (?) Shine On The Way It Goes (?) Under The Influence (?) Twenty Wild Horses (?) Keep 'em Coming Mony Mony Old Time Rock 'n' Roll (?) Roll Over Beethoven Heavy Traffic Thinking Of You Gravy Train Let's Rock Two Way Traffic Go Go Go Looking Out For Caroline Not sure if I have missed any... All the tracks marked with (?) are tracks that we could argue as to whether they are rare or not, as they stayed in the setlist for a full tour or 2. There's also a one off performance of In The Army Now that could be included. The only major difference was an extended outro to replicate the album version Maybe just add Fun Fun Fun, Get Back and Get Out of Denver . Denver stayed for two tours I think . Maybe a question mark on Heavy Traffic too ? I think it lasted a whole tour - over 100 shows between 2002-03. I was always hopeful it would reappear at some point !!

To be honest, some of those with a question mark are quite surprising because there are a few that I've never seen played live. The Way It Goes probably surprises me the most. Either that or my memory is getting really bad. Which I would never dispute with any degree of confidence You maybe missed it as it was played as the opening song on their pub tour . If you didn’t get to one of those that’s maybe why it doesn’t stick out in your mind The reason I mentioned it is because Quoincidence has it down as being in "a full tour or 2". I didn't manage to get a ticket for the pub tour so I presume that's the only tour on which it was played? I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the set for the winter. And because I was missing, it doesn't count as a tour. Just a few random gigs till I can get there

There are a couple of renditions of The Way It Goes on YouTube, along with other UTI tracks.

As a side note, they opened with TWH on the early part of the tour before they decided it wasn’t working and it got shifted to mid set

I remember hearing live renditions of Solid Gold and All Stand Up (or Never Say Never as it was called then) after having been previewed on the 2001 tour and way before Heavy Traffic was released.
The internet for me back then was a real novelty and I was probably on dial-up but hearing those was quite a revelation at the time. Might have been YouTube if it existed back then. Or a forerunner of it.
The only live version of Heavy Traffic I can recall is the one played during "The One And Only" TV prog. I dare say there are a few floating around on YouTube though.

What about: Nanana Ring of A change Something’ bout you Baby Oh Carol Fun Fun Fun Get Back Get Out of Denver All around my hat Proud Mary The Party Ain’t over yet Belavista Man Blue eyed Lady (2013/14) Oh Baby (2013/14) With there being no recorded evidence of Nanana, Ring Of A Change or Carol (besides 2002 / 03 when it was included in the encore medley) being played, I don't want to include them.

With there being no recorded evidence of Nanana, Ring Of A Change or Carol (besides 2002 / 03 when it was included in the encore medley) being played, I don't want to include them. Carol was sang the chorus sometimes on Bye Bye Johnny from the '81 tour. Does it count? On what should count and what shouldn't count, I wouldn't count from your list: Claudie: Since Hello Tour to On The Level Tour, two soundboard recordings contains it I Saw the Light: The whole On The Level Tour Most of the Time: On The Level, Blue for You and Reunion Tours (the ending was different (beautiful!) but stayed the two full tours) Rockers Rollin': RAOTW and IYCSTH full tours. Yes, no soundboard recordings, but 6-7 different gigs to hear it. You Don't Own Me: RAOTW full tour. Oh! What A Night: "Full" IYCSTH tour. Come Rock With Me-Rockin' On: "Full" Don't Stop tour. Two soundboard recordings also. Dreamin': Full ITAN tour, even with videos. Who Gets The Love: Full AC tour, even soundboard recording and video. Cream Of The Crop: Full AC tour, even soundboard recording and video. Since 1989, now I'm troubles to sort them. I think the line could be if the tour is more than 6 months, they wouldn't count. Fakin' the Blues and No Problems, they appear in several bootlegs, even video bootlegs, so for me wouldn't make the list, but didn't stayed the whole tour. The ones from Perfect Remedy even are in an official release video (and now audio), but the tour was very short, so yes, it could be included, and so on. Mmmmm...Difficult question.

Little Dreamer and Perfect Remedy were dropped in the middle of the tour due to Rick and Francis having sore throats, so even with it being a short tour they still weren't played for the whole thing. 4 professional recordings were made on that tour

Bit by bit I'm uploading tracks that had brief stints in the live set over the years. Starting with the Fabulous Tour from 1979. Taken from the master bootleg recordings and remastered, as I intend on doing with other tracks. Both of these tracks, afaik, had been completely dropped from the set once Quo had made it to the UK. Neither are present on the Glasgow Apollo boot from 27th May. Interesting. Actually never heard Gonna Teach Ya live before. Nothing much from that album stands up well live but I love how even a mediocre track like this can change course on stage when the hard rock kicks in at the 2.55 mark with Rossi's solo. Just proves yet again how different a band they were live compared to the studio - certainly in a post Live album period.

I think the general criteria might be being lost somewhere along the line but my own view is that if a song only ever appeared on bootlegs and nowhere else, that makes it rare. To me anyway. As someone who never really dabbled all that much in bootlegs.
