I know it's a masterpiece, is there anything else left to say.

I guess the start of it all. Loved it then. Love it now. Strangely, took a while to bed itself into the set. It was played on the Piledriver tour but then disappeared for a while. I don't think it pitched up again until 1984. That's quite a gap for the song that basically made them stars. Been in and out ever since of course. I love the rendition from 1996 where it opened the show, initially pretending to be Caroline. Might be my favourite opening number apart from the old Junior's Wailing days. Top notch

The 72 Marquee version on YouTube is for me the real Quo. Heavy, raw and loud.

Always quite liked it, never really got the adoration for it
Was gutted in 96 when they teased Caroline but opened with PP 😆😆I went with an old school mate who hadn't seen Quo in 10 years. That intro severely disappointed him! Lots of Quoasis tshirts and a noticeably younger crowd than the usual
Funny the things you remember...
... Howard Kendall was at that Manchester gig, the only punter wearing a knee length rain mac! He was alone and nursing scotch 🥃

Quo in Dec 1996 with the teaser Caroline opening riff, then straight into PP. I was at one of these gigs and the place went ballistic with excitement!!!

I think the intro from '96 was clever. I like that.

I would have liked to have been at the Paris Theatre when the BBC recorded it for transmission. I have very fond memories of going to the Paris as part of the audience for recordings in my lunch hour when I worked in London. Quoincidence posted it on here last year.

It's in my top division of Quo tracks. Sometimes wish there was more of it. Love it live but it's always over just after it has started.

Established Quo in the big league. They threw away the mould after this one 👍

Ah yes the Plane - my first hearing of Quo. My old next door neighbour used to belt this out nearly every Sunday morning in the front room of his terraced house somewhere around 1972. He was a few years older than me so while i was in our front room listening to T-Rex my rock epiphany would come in xmas 73 - my other older neighbour had Purples Made in Japan - overkill - my rock journey began...
