Really enjoyed listening to this live on the reunion. A lot of my fave Quo songs include Bob's harp.

ah yes, "if I'd realised, I'd be less surprised" - a phrase that's applicable to so much in life!

Another Complete Classic from the FFive [I'm guessing the Roy was on it - needless to say someone'll know different tho'!!] Someone called Bruce Foster is credited with 'piano' on the album. I presume Roy had left by then. There's certainly no photo of him on the sleeve. As for the track, an absolute classic from a brilliant album. And Mr Parfitt contributed nothing to the writing on it whatsoever. He must have been saving himself The full version of Railroad had gone from the set by the On The Level tour but when it turned up nearly 10 years later, even in a medley, it was still magnificent

I just love the start of the first verse at 39 seconds when they go into full shuffle mode! Always been one of my favourites!!

He released an album in '77 He also appears on this early recording featuring Richie Sambora Apparently, they were then in a band together called Message

Don't know anything about him. He had "New York" in brackets after his name. I imagine he was a session musician. Although that's just a guess. I think they had one or two keyboard players on studio albums after Roy left and until Andy became the go-to guy.

It must have been really hard to come into a session with Quo then, they were so tight and knew each other so well, the timing and everything, having played in a few bands years ago, I found getting into another bands groove really hard,
But I cant think of a tighter/Sharper band at the time. Maybe Purple. Jimmy pages solos were good but some were pretty fast or slow live.
Anyway I found it difficult, that's probably cos I didnt practice enough..
