A thing of beauty From one of the finest albums I will ever listen to. For me, this is the album that cemented Quo as a very fine rock band. There were signs on Ma Kelly but it was inconsistent. This one nailed it. Start to finish. Interesting that Alan didn't sing lead on any of his own compositions from Dog to Hello! but that decision is justified here. Francis's voice suiting it down to the ground. Only time I ever heard it live was when State of Quo did it at the Greyhound moons ago. 10/10

It's not just great. It's brilliant ! If Francis could have only kept playing solos like that...

This is the album that got me in to Quo, while I was listening to Electric Warrior by T Rex, I was interested in the album my elder sister was playing and so when she went out the Dog album was played on my turntable. In my opinion, there is not a poor track on the album. I still play my late sister's Pye album today, 50 years on

Particularly like the segue from the guitar solo back into the main 'riff' - nicely done.

I don't hear this so much on the last times, but I really like it when I was younger. The chorus from the "UOOOOOs" always sounded to me like Queen.
