Good stuff. Ricks tele, can't remember that one ? It's his G&L Asat, that was only ever used for "The Power Of Rock" before then becoming a back-up At some point, the necks on his and Frames G&Ls were swapped.

Rick still in his prime!
Still think the track is a wee bit overrated........

Is there anything from the vocals from the gig? I dont think so. I've not had chance to compare it to the soundboard / pre-dub copy of the show. It won't be massively overdubbed, as the performance from the 17th December isn't that bad, vocally. Rossi struggles with the odd high note, but they had recently had the flu. Little Dreamer / Perfect Remedy were dropped, for a couple of dates due to that, in the middle of the tour

I like this one. Excellent performance from Rossi. His solo'ing on this performance is possibly the best on the whole tour.

There only decent song from that period, bar none. Sounds great live, guitar wise, but the vocals have been seriously overdubbed. Both Rossi's singing and the 'oh oh oh's, are all dubbed over big time, which detracts from the live experience.
Backstory to this track is that Rossi was influenced by John Farnham's The Voice when they put this together. You can hear the influence in the song structure although very different sounding numbers of course.
