Just to add, here's more rare footage from 1974 when Quo were in Australia. Maybe you've all seen this but its new to me. There must be more out there.

That Pinkpop Festival audio sounds like it's from the Apollo recording from 1976; minus Jackie Lynton's intro of course. The OZ one is great. It's like another existence! And kudos to whoever filmed it in the days when mobile phones - with cameras! - were science fiction

And how many Kudos does a tenner buy?

Quo are like Pink Floyd both never filmed their concerts in their peaks in the 70's all we have too look forward is either new 8mm fan found footage remastered or short clips like that. While other acts have loads of footage in their prime from the 70's which they release. The Stones, The Who Led Zeppelin, lynyrd skynyrd.
I get Quo & Floyd didnt think ahead of the future and costs in that era didnt justify for all the pro shot camera work expenses. Such a missed opportunity for both bands

True with Pompeii and some other few songs pro shot Brighton 1972 though only 2 tracks from that release pre-dark side and then nothing till 80-81. When they filmed The Wall Shows and only 1 song has been released and the rest is supposedly not good quality. Yet Roger showed his band for his Wall tour the full show. Yet he wont release it us public.
Quo that one show in Madrid and then nothing till 1982 Nec

In every sense the '75 Madrid show IS the only motherlode we have in viewing Quo playing live in their heyday. But as we know its quality is quite poor, so wouldn't it be fantastic to get director Peter Jackson in and commence a full clean up project, with proper colourisation (like his First World War work), voice synchronisation etc and then present us with a unique finished article for the 60th anniversary celebrations (1962-2022 right)!!! We can but dream!
