A bit of an obscure one. Alan co-wrote the closing theme to the Australian movie 'An Indecent Proposal Obsession'!
Skippy (clever) along to the closing credits and theme tune. Strangely there was a song by Journey around the same time called 'It Could Have Been You'.

He wrote The Wild Ones for a movie as well. Admittedly, one that was never made. Typical Quo that That Party Boys pic looks like they want to be Huey Lewis & The News

When I first heard the song it made me sad, I thought the lyrics seemed bitter and had the split in mind

All those people who talk about Alan as the way forward for Quo in the 80s should listen to this. Along with the other demos and songs he wrote post 84.
Utter drivel. As bad as anything on Ain’t complaining.

He also wrote the theme for a gritty British drama about a woman who didn't worry if everyone forgot her name. Marge or Rita's Fine was never released.

Yet to see any evidence that this was just a creation, and it was all part of the recording sessions for JS/NTL.. I dont buy it

I dont buy it The only detail I ever saw was that it was to be a remake of the Marlon Brando movie of the same name. Well, almost the same name You may have a point Although if it was never to be a single, I don't actually see the point of making it up. Maybe it was an Australian version. Might explain why Alan wrote it and we've never heard any more about it.
