So after years of "yeah the Quo they're not bad" I've finally picked up their back catalogue going for the deluxe editions to round up all the b'sides etc. However I still seem to be missing a few tracks, I'm only talking about actual new songs, not live versions, remixes etc.
So can someone tell me if these are the only tracks that haven't made it onto an album CD reissue?
Driving To Glory - B'Side Little White Lies (1999 Under The Influence) Fighting With The Pack - Benzim Im Blut
Analyse Time - B'Side Twenty Wild Horses (1999 Under The Influence) Obstruction Day - B'Side Twenty Wild Horses (1999 Under The Influence)
The Madness - B'Side Jam Side Down (2002 Heavy Traffic)
You Let Me Down - B'Side All Stand Up (2002 Heavy Traffic)
You'll Come Round (2004 non-album single) Lucinda - B'Side You'll Come Round
Thinking Of You (2004 non-album)
It's Christmas Time (2008 non-album)
I've managed to get most of them on other issues but is there anyway to get Analyse Time, Obstruction Day, The Madness, You Let Me Down & Lucinda in lossless quality? None of the (legal) download sites I checked had them and the CD singles go for daft money on eBay.
Cheers!

Fighting with the pack was included in the Rocker's Rollin' box set, but that box is also discontinued.
Except for You'll Come 'Round, Thinking of You and It's Christmas Time, I'm just like you. Plus I never managed to get Pictures of Matchstick Men ('99) or I Ain't Ready in lossless either (well, most of the singles from '99 to '05 to be honest, legal or ilegally).
I've paid 9€ for the The Way it Goes just a month ago...And now I'm regreting, too much money I guess.

It's Christmas Time (2008 non-album) You mean that edited version that is slightly shorter? I've also been trying to get that one in lossless. I don't think it was ever released in that way, just like the aquostic versions of Rollin' Home and For You. Would like to be wrong, though.

Anyway, long time ago I checked some CDs. One of them was the Pictures 40 years of hits, and looks like It's Christmas Time is in lossy format. Also I've checked the Collected CD too and haves the same "problem". If you check on a software like Speck, every single version is cut on 16 kHz (when the normal, CD-Rip version will be on 20-22 kHz), so it's like the master is at 192kb/s MP3, sort to speak. Recently I got the singles box from 2000 to 2010, I have to check if that single is also cut on 16kHz. I don't know if we can bother to get a single version in lossless, if the album version it's a lossy file in any CD. Check the image, you see all the tracks from 20 to 22 khz except one? That is It's Christmas Time.

Apart from the Pictures collection I mean. Very odd it’s not actually in lossless though!

Some bonus tracks from the Deluxe editions are also sourced from lossy masters, like one of the Wild Side Of Life demos, the rehearsal tapes from 1+9+8+2 and some of the live tracks from Thirsty Work (even though I can't hear any artifacts on those, as opposed to the others); and, of course, some live tracks from the early deluxes, but those come from bootlegs.

No, I'm saying there is one version of It's Christmas Time, that is slightly shorter, that was never released physically. I thought you were talking about that one, as opposed to the version that came in the Single CD and on the Pictures compilation.

No I was just listing tracks that were not on an actual studio album.

So that's 2 or 3 of my favourite Quo tracks from that era never made it to an album. Rather like the 60s ...

Well, that's understable, those tracks are bootlegs. Universal or the people who brought those tracks only have the MP3 traded versions or whatever. The quality isn't very good either so it doesn't bother me too much. On the other side, things like It's Christmas Time gets me nervous wreck. Why the company didn't bother to get a true lossless mix from the masters on CD? They just release the same master from iTunes or Spotify or whatever to CD. That is worse.
