I saw the video for this on an old TOTP the other night and I have to confess I've never heard of it! It entered the chart at no.3 as well In passing comment - which I'm allowed to do due to freedom of expression - I thought it was fvckin' awful. As was the video that accompanied it. If there are any Maiden fans on here, it would interesting to know if this track was rated or even the album it came from. Incidentally, the video for Thunderstruck by AC/DC was on the same broadcast. Must've been HM week at the Beeb

I think its from No prayer for the dying. Which if memory serves me, also has Bring your daughter to the slaughter. I must admit, it was all a bit poppy for my taste. Never liked the singer but do like his voice. From what I remember the video is them just pissing about. I'd rate the album 4/10

I've never been much of a Maiden fan (bought some of their earlier singles for a while) but I usually remember their hits. I guess because there was so little metal on things like TOTP they tended to stand out. But I have no recollection of this one. Oh well, every day's a school day

Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter debuted at Number 1 did it not? So you could definitely call it their pop period!
