Favourite Quo Album: On The Level

Over lockdown, i learned my two favourite guitar solos, Skynyrd's covers of "Crossroads" and "Call Me The Breeze".
Have loved these solos/parts for years, but it took a lockdown for me to get off my arse and learn them. The sound ain't great, just plugged into a cheap amp, into a PC and pressed record.
And for some reason they don't come through when played on a phone, the parts get lost, but seem to work fine on a PC or laptop. Maybe the way i separated the guitar parts into different speakers.
And no, not doing Freebird! But might do some Quo at some point. "Most Of The Time" or "Softer Ride" maybe, love the solos on them.

Some very nice playing there Gav, really enjoyed those two. Be nice to hear it with
you playing all the guitars and without the original playing behind as well, all you need to get is a drum track.
What did you use to get the split screen?

Great guitar sound, Gav. Really nice stuff! Doesn't matter how you get it if it sounds good, and it does! Organic, earthy, love it!

Cheers! I wanted to blend in with the original soundtrack a bit, the safe option!
I used Sony Vegas, just messing around with screen width and centre point of screen. You just overlay the two videos together before you change those settings.
