got my 3 planet rock breakfast selections chosen today and picked 3 festive ones The Greedies "a merry jingle" the Darkness "christmas time"(don't let the bells end) and Quo "it's christmas time".......is it up there with the classics like slade, greg lake or chris rea......not even close but i think that's entirely down to the lack of airplay when it came out and the change in musical tastes as i really like it. if it had came out in the 70's or 80's if may well have been up there with the league leaders......who knows ?

I'm probably very much in the minority but I actually quite like that Rick/Rolf track. It has a bit more about it. As did Rolf, as we were about to find out Tie Me Kangeroo Down was a plea for help from a sexual deviant, the Kangeroo being Rolf's insatiable appetites. When I saw him at Wickham Festival a few years ago I was quite disappointed that he didn't perform Jake the Peg!

DJs not interested in the music nowadays. Just robots doing what they are told. No personality which is why stations have been shut down. I mean who wants to listen to that ?
