Favourite Quo Album: On The Level

I've made that assumption having listened to them side by side.
It's all a bit confusing. But i think these 2 may have been specifically remixed for the 1998 reissue, and then a further five were given the stereo treatment for the 2002 compilation "The Technicolour Dreams of the Status Quo: The Complete 60s Recordings". The full album then became available in stereo as Disc 2 of the PMMFTSQ 2003 reissue, which incorporated all the new stereo mixes thus far.
I have listened closely and therefore think there's only one stereo mix of both POMM & PF.
There has clearly been a bit of remastering for the 2002 compilation and probably the 2003 reissue also, as the levels at least are higher, but i'm certain, to answer your question again, these are the same mixes from 1998 through to 2003/9.

Makes sense. The POMM stereo mix was also released in the 1998 compilation The Singles Collection 1966-73. That one is the same as the one in the Deluxe version, etc.. Weird that it fot release twice in 1998. In the end, I'm glad they remixed the songs and gave us stereo versions. It's odd that the debut album didn't have stereo mixes at the time. Especially since a couple of Traffic Jam songs were already in stereo.
Thanks for the reply and for your time, going through the songs! : )
