Dust To Gold is the only stand out track. Obviously, in my own humble opinion!

I've just recently listened to Let's Rock again because I wanted to play it on the piano. Randomly, it also played Frozen Hero (the song I named myself after...) and I enjoyed that too. I did notice how awkward and sudden the fadeouts are on both songs...

A lot of what could be termed 'filler' and cherry-picking time, but definitely some moments of magic on QPQ that still hold up today.

Over 9 years old now.
Hardly seems credible that Quo released Dog, Piledriver, Hello, Quo, On The Level, Blue For You, Live, Rockin', Heat, Whatever You Want, 12 Gold Bars and Just Supposin' during the equivalent period in the 70's/80's.
I like Quid Pro Quo. It's a little too long, like most CD's these days. If they'd stopped after the first 11 tracks or so, it would be bordering on brilliant for me.

I still rate Dust to Gold very highly and sits as one of my faves of modern times. Credit where credit is due. A Rossi guitar solo would have actually sealed that track as one of their finest post NTL.

Just as an add-on, I think this is probably the last album they released that contained what I think are a couple of true modern classics in Dust To Gold and Two Way Traffic. Songs that would sit very proudly and hold their own against almost anything in their entire catalogue. Whilst hastily adding the obligatory 'in my ever so....'

They played Two Way Traffic at Greenwich in 2010. It went down very well indeed, much better than the " Right then,I'm off to the bog" anthem Beginning Of The End.
