I'm currently working my way through my channel and re-uploading things to make everything look a bit more professional... So why not start with the Rossi / Frost singles from May / October 1985.
First off, Jealousy, released in October 1985 on 7" and 12" featuring Where Are You Now? and That's All Right as B-Sides, the latter of which was re-recorded by Quo in '87 during the Fighter / Ain't Complaining Sessions.
Edit; Also, RIP Bernie Frost who passed away 1 year ago today!

Is that a gunshot I hear instead of a snare?
Unrelated but who is the Penguin Rock bars channel on YouTube. Been around for years.

Never liked Jealousy as a Quo track. In fact, up until 1982 it was the song I had disliked the most. When Francis re-recorded it - pretty much in a style faithful to the original - it went into the collection but I probably only played it once. The extra tracks I did quite like. I guess because they were a bit more Quo-like. I appreciate the sentiments and even the cleverness of the song but the melody leaves me cold. And, yeah, scarcely seems like 5 minutes since Bernie's passing, let alone a year

Did they re-record That's All Right or just remixed and added some more instruments?
So A Year has gone since Bernie's passing, that's sad.

This song showed me just how awful Edwards is compared to Lancaster. God this is terrible, but the bass is the worst part. It sounds like an elephant farting.

Did Andy play bass on those tracks? It's funny, on one side (Flying Debris) you have Francis, Bernie, Andy and Pete. On the other (Recorded Delivery) you have Rick, Pip, Rhino and Jeff...

It would be nice to find out the original track sequences.

Where shit really did hit the fan. I found this far, far worse than anything off Heat and Rockin and a million miles away from the material Rossi/Frost wrote together just a year prior to NTL. I mean, Riverside to Jealousy within 12 months? What the hell happened in between???

At least, I never saw that, unlike for example the original sequence for Whatever You Want/As It Happens or The Fighter/Ain't Complaining. I mean, Riverside to Jealousy within 12 months? What the hell happened in between??? Too much lines of...Sugar?

Okay, rather perversely, I quite liked this on 1+9+8+2 because of the poppy tune. And lyrics about something other than love. Prefer that album version than this extended remix. Agree its not really Quo and I get why so many fans hate it. I wonder what it would be like if re-recorded by musicians other than Quo.
