OK, not on everyone's must have Quo list but I now find that I don't have this version of the song on mp3. I knew it was on the vinyl but never really paid much attention and forgot all about it. A thread somewhere else brought it to mind so I thought I'd give it a play, not having heard it. It seems that, unlike most vinyl albums, Aquostic II doesn't have download codes for the tracks (no idea why) so, although I have it, I can't actually play it I dare say I could convert it from YouTube - and probably will - but it's still a bit annoying. Or should I just buy a turntable and be done with it?

I can send you an mp3 if you like? Cheers, mate, but I've actually just this minute found it. It was in my iTunes library on my PC but not on the library in iTunes itself. No idea how that happened but I'm sorted. Ta for the offer. I'll probably delete this thread because it now transpires to be bollox

Was the song released only on vinyl and in MP3? Never in lossless format (WAV/FLAC)?

Was the song released only on vinyl and in MP3? Never in lossless format (WAV/FLAC)? I don't know if it was ever released in mp3 format except with the vinyl album. I can only assume I have it on mp3 because I used the code given with the vinyl then, for whatever reason (and it escapes me), disposed of the codes. I can't think of any other way I could have got it. It's not available on iTunes or anywhere else I've looked. It is interesting, though; this thread and the Rollin' Home one. It's so easy to miss songs when music companies fragment things like that.

I don't understand why they release them only as MP3 through the codes, instead of a proper lossless format. Yeah, I guess it's to make people buy from several places... A person just wants to collect their music, but needs to buy, sometimes, multiples different versions of the same album.

I've only ever seen it as an mp3 vinyl rip that someone's done themselves.
But if anyone has a clean mp3, ie. non-vinyl, they got with that download code, i'd be interested to hear it!

Hadn't realised For You is on there. It remains the only Quo album I haven't heard. I await it as album of the month with mild anxiety...

I feel that a second one meant the novelty factor and excitement was gone with us knowing what to expect. Thankfully we got Backbone as the next album and there wasn’t an Aquostic 3
