First of all, lovely song!
Can anyone confirm if the vinyl version is different than the CD version? The song on CDs always have about 2:45 of length. However, vinyl sleeves, from the original to the new re-issues released this decade, all list the song as having 3:10. I don't have any vinyl, so I can't check if the song is indeed longer. Anyone would be able to check this, please?
Cheers

The vinyl version ended with a blistering solo as the song finished in a frenzied shuffle. Ok I might be a bit wrong but it should have.

These type of tracks showcased what a good singer Rick was and these ballady type songs suited his voice much more than some of the heavy rock stuff.

The "ooooohhh" vocals in the final verse are just heavenly. Sends shivers down my spine. One of a handful of tracks (For You, Blue For You and ITABW also spring to mind) that feature gorgeous multi-part harmony.

Just played the vinyl record simultaneously with the Spotify version that clocks 2:43. It's exactly the same I have the UK version (Vertigo 9102 002).
