We can't judge the personalities of the band But, Francis and Rick should have been fired on the spot after that!! Flat vocals, some solos all over the place... Fuck... Pete, Alan and Andy held it all together... It does add fire to the wrong one was gotten rid of argument...But, that's not the reason I'm posting... Fuck man...That's my childhood goodbye ha. For those who said Pete was the star of the EOTR tour, I totally get it now. For those who talk about the chemistry of the FF, whilst I saw them numerous times, I get you now. Fuck!

I wasn't at MK but I was at the last London gig, Selhurst Park and that was the worst FF gig I saw. So sadly, not surprised by your verdict of the gig.
I wouldn't dismiss all the gigs you enjoyed with later band line-ups. They are why you're here in the first place. Glad you had the chance to see them play at the reunion gig.

Well it would be the worst FF gig you’ve seen when one of them’s missing

I was at this and it's hard to explain how bad it was, nasty atmosphere and Quo were pretty awful. It's the only Quo gig i ever wanted to end so I could go home.

See Railroad007 post for further details why it wasn't any good.

I was also disappointed that MK had been added. I wanted the last gig to that one. I was sat far back on the grass, so not feeling any nasty atmosphere but a flat, deep disappointment that it was ending for me like this. That grey day, didn't it drizzle... Yeah, I probably wanted it to end too.

Selhurst and the subsequent return used up a lot of credit, thankfully the FF reunion made it all go away.

The piss bottle throwing became a barrage during Little Stevens set and Quo copped a few as well. The sound was really thick and really hard to pick out the lead guitar, I was by the mixing desk which is a good spot to be in. Rossi's ramblings were really long and boring, I had never seen the band outdoors and it didn't work for me at all, to long to wait.

See Railroad007 post for further details why it wasn't any good. I’m not entirely sure if my point was clear or not now. The joke was there was no Spud, hence it not being a FF gig, hence it being an obvious choice for ‘worst FF gig’ when it’s not even the FF.

Ceegie ignored it, her comments are allowed under current lock down rules but maybe subject to review when a road map to easing lock down measures becomes available. Until then the inclusion of John Coghlan in Status Quo after 1982 is allowed.

If I watched the MK video now, I might form the same opinion. But at the gig and also when watching the video at the time of release, I thought the whole thing was marvellous. A highlight of my Quo 'career'. Maybe I'd best not listen to it again. Lest it spoil a very good memory Reports of Selhurst Park sound similar to my experience at Monsters of Rock at Donington. It rained then an' all. And Quo were pi$$ poor. As was everyone else on the bill.

The bootleg, Francis butchers some of his solos, his voice is flat on some songs and I've no idea what he was playing at one part during 4500 times

I think the Mystery Medley was the most overdubbed song of the whole show. Just listen to Wild Side Of Life and watch both Rick and Francis. Their playing does not match up to the audio at all.
Rick and Francis' vocals were heavily overdubbed here and there as they both seemed to be having an off day
May as well have been titled "Milton Keynes Medley; Live From A Studio in Woldingham Surrey" (were it was mixed and overdubbed)

I gather both Rick and Francis were heavily struggling with their personal problems... which was a reason for folding the band as a live concern. Alan was unaffected by this, I guess.
