Did the whole of the second series last night. Great stuff.
I think the relative shortness of the episodes helps. They averaged out at about 27 or 28 minutes each.
My wife is in love with the dog
Yes same here, second series done and dusted...,an excellent show and cast. (I think I’ve fallen in love with the nurse😬 ) All set up for another series soon I hope.
The Scottish actress who plays the nurse is quite often with Ricky Gervais in his programmes. She was certainly in Extras which was another cracking series. Ronnie Corbett caught snorting coke in a toilet is a scene I'll never forget
All 12 apostles can't be seen from the shore Some hide behind the others There's always people taking pictures
The first series was one of the best things that I have seen on Netflix. I love the postman, what a character. Brilliant writing. I felt the second series did not live up to the first. The Paul Kaye character, although fairly funny in the first series was just too over the top in the second, along with the bearded horder guy. They were characters that the show could have done without. I felt in the second series the Asian reporter was underused as well. The aforementioned postman, the sex worker and the lady by the grave were all great characters.I loved the little newspaper reports when they went to visit people in their houses. Very clever and funny.I personally felt the first series started and ended perfectly, a second series was unnecessary.
backwater67: Looks like fretbuzzzz has based his sales on BPI sales awards. Back in the 1970s & 80s silver sales were based on minimum 250,000 units sold. (Today silver sales are awarded for 200,000 units)

backwater67: Paul Hirch filled in for Quo when Andy’s wife was unable to tour. Aquostic was a complete different project for Quo. I was referring to a standard regular live gig on stage with session guitarists. Jagger does still take the lead vocal.
