Spinal Tap, Wembley Arena Edit: to be serious, Quo - Glasgow Apollo. Fairly certain it's the October '76 run of gigs, but taken during Rehearsal. Colin J on drums, not John.

I'm pretty sure it's not the Apollo. The stage was much higher and there wasn't really any sort of gap between the crowd and the stage except a wider expanse of floor with bouncers on it. That semi-circular curtained bit is completely unfamiliar. Is that the mixing desk or something inside? Mind you, it's 36 years since I last set foot in the place so I could be completely wrong!

The clear up after Quo's 3 nights at the Apollo Glasgow in Oct 1976 😥😥 Yes, just realised my wee joke may have seemed a bit insensitive. I do understand the history of the place and its iconic status in those times. It was just something that I was watching the other day and John Coghlan had been talking about those nights at the Apollo and sitting behind his kit terrified that the balconies could give way at any moment as he could see them moving as the fans bounced manically up and down. Wish I had been there to see the fever pitch.
