Some of you may find this interesting. Steve Hoffman music forums is a very useful and large forum where mmbers post their views about various groups and versions of albums. For example, I often use it to get guidance on what master of a particular recording is the one to source. The link takes you to a 45 page (so far) review of ALL of Quo's output to individual track level. Of course, it is subjective but it is clearly a labour of love. There are personal reviews of all the albums from the very start with many of the versions and numerous opinions from other members of the forum. You may not agree with some of the reviews, but the effort should be applauded! forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/status-quo-album-by-album-thread-50-years-of-quo.686221/

Yeah, i've frequently browsed the site over the last few years. Lots of fascinating forums/discussions on it, which leads to hours and hours of perusal. It is US centric so you'll find US posts about Quo who genuinely havn't got a clue. It's POMM and that's it.

I've also been following that thread, even before I appeared here. Very interesting posts and debates, even though I disagree with some opinions. Like Andy Pearce remastering sounding great on Status Quo, for instance To be fair, Quo and Hello! don't sound bad.

Had a quick look, some great reviews on there with snippets I didn't know
Perhaps I should take a week off work to read the whole thread 😆
