Thanks for this. Watched it again last night. Probably the tightest I’ve seen the band live in TV and the sound mix was superb

Rossi is just so invigorated in this gig. He's like a man who has found his musical mojo again. Fantastic boogie fest.

My opinion: Leon is great, sounds/plays much better here than on Backbone album! Richie is ok, vocals on Mystery song ok. Rhino... oh dear, please don't sing, it's embarrassing. Awful on Rain, Again and again. Rossi...why is he singing like he's drunk on for instance Roll over lay down, and why is he screwing up the solo? Liberty lane sounds great live, better than the studio version. They sound great on this new track, but most of the classics sound very poor on vocals, guitars are fine. Rick wasn't very good in the last 10 years on vocals but Rhino is just not good enough, why do they let him sing?
As a band they did very well. Yes they're tight, but the vocals are just not good enough for me. You can't blame Rossi, he's 70, can't hit the high notes in the classics anymore. So don't do the ones you can't anymore. Instead, play more new songs from the last 10 years or so, songs that are still in his vocal range because they are more recent.
After all this criticism, I enjoyed Liberty Lane the most much to my surprise!
