Cheers Per, I do have the BBC box set but, as QI says quite a lot of the cut-out chat/banter with SW in between the snippets of tracks RP & FR actually played, were more interesting/funny (if I remember rightly FR has a go at one the the BBC sound guys about the duff tuning on their guitars...)

Not sure when the exact release date is, but here's a preview of Rock 'Til You Drop I'm torn about this song. I absolutely love it, it's a great song, with one exception...the bass. It screams for Lancaster's punchy bass line and not this earthquake that overrides everything else. I still listen to it all the time because it's so good, though.

Too late to be added now. Once theyve licensed what they need for the release, that's it... they wont go back and get anything else simply because Universal would then have to go around the archives finding whatever it is that has been requested. RTYD was an exception for the Live material as they already had the full shows from those days so all they had to do was license those tracks for release. Ah damn it. Too bad, really a shame. Was hoping I could get my ears on that rare extended version. I like the song a lot. Any way this can be released in the future? Still looking forward to the Deluxe Edition. Especially if it contains those Spanish Anniversary Waltz, Sold and other unreleased stuff on CD. Is it a 3CD release as well? There's live stuff from the 1990 as well. And there's that Steve Wright Unplugged show, in 1989 and this: I get it most fans don't like nor care about this, but I still think would be nice to get it released somewhere. Just for completeness sake. Forgot all about that! Most fans will hate it....I was too young to know any different at the time. Rick wearing a waistcoat! And being backed by a big string section....wonder how much that cost!

Not that didn't mention it to them anyway because it's too late to be licensed But if it was originally released by Vertigo, now part of Universal, shouldn't licensing the song for release be a trivial process? I'm totally ignorant on these matters.

I'm totally ignorant on these matters. It all still needs to be licensed to be released. Ideas / tracklistings get proposed, and once they're proposed the archival dept. will send what they need / have listed down for the release to those working on the release for the audio to be remastered. The more time spent on project means more money spent. As far as I know, Quo don't have a big budget when it comes to releases and this Deluxe Batch has been in the work for a good year now... the longer it goes on = the more money it hemorrhages.
