Will you share it on the bootleg sub-forum?
Sounds really great, I don't know why Universal don't released it on the BBC box. Problem with the rights of the audio, perhaps? It wasn't broadcasted by the BBC, isn't it?

azza200 Had it for a while and just decided to share it... I have the bad quality version you're on about also. roquer Possibly. That bootleg forum needs sorting out and all the links need fixing. Will have a look into that and drop you a link @ some point. Back in 2007 when the work first began on the Live At The BBC boxset, each disc was referred to as a Volume... so everything was on it's own disc, whereas with the final release there was the crossover of the Live At The NEC gig on the Paris Theatre '73 disc. Both the Paris Theatre '73 & Knebworth '90 cover arts can still be found on the internet. "Status Quo, Live at the BBC, Vol. 1: Live at the Paris Theatre", "Status Quo, Live at the BBC, Vol. 3: Live at Knebworth". Original release date, April 9th 2007... Final release date, October 24th 2010. It was also given a catalogue number;- 984 710-5 Cheers

Also isn't the reason why no acts have released their sets from this concert is down the owners Nordoff who own the rights to the concert, i remember when the Live Knebworth release was in the pipeline & that was the reason why it got shelved, could be wrong.
Shame as i would love to see an offical of this on DVD/CD release along with Pink Floyd's set. Knebworth 90 also has a brilliant version of Money For Nothing by Dire Strait's that supergroup segment with Clapton & Elton John is really good.

This sounds great. For some reason I only ever thought there were 3 or 4 tracks that were broadcasted, the rest ether not released or never recorded. Roadhouse medley sounds really good, Ricks voice was so powerful around this time, really could hit the high notes.
You never know they may surprise us and realease this on the PR deluxe but they’ll end sticking some crappy B sides on it instead more than likely. Also if Nordoff Robins do own the rights to this gig then it’ll prob be too much hassle for the Quo management sadly.

However Birmingham could feature on the PR Deluxe... which I'm not too keen on as a full version of the gig exists but they will only use the VHS / Laserdisc release with missing tracks. Radio stations broadcast the whole Knebworth 90 gig. The whole ffn broadcast of the gig is up to 8 Discs. Only 4 tracks were broadcast on TV, and only 3 were released on the official CD release Cheers

I’ve got the full bootleg somewhere and I think they played tracks like 4500 times Rain Red river rock POMM etc... do you know if those tracks were ever cleaned up/remastered like the official release was? If so there’s no reason they can’t release the full concert.

If so there’s no reason they can’t release the full concert. Quo's management have nothing to do with these... simply just Universal and a few people putting things together and giving feedback like myself and frozenhero They didn't play Forty Five Hundred Times at the gig... but I have the full bootleg you mention and that track is a bonus song from the Wembley 1990 gigs. the 16th December 1990 which was recorded officially and appears on the Live Alive Quo release. The whole gig exists on a master reel... during Rain were the power cuts out, the video fades out and cuts back in when the song starts up again. Any gig that is filmed will always be edited first in full before any tracks are removed. I'm not entirely sure but I think the master reel of the whole gig was used for the XS All Areas DVD. I'm not 100% certain on that. Quite possibly is a LaserDisc rip of the show, as the XS dvd is simply the Rockin' Through The Years release, hence the denim overlays that cover the old scrolling text from that release Only reason the whole gig won't be used is because it's not in Universals possession, but by someone who's archiving Quos material. Cheers

Cheers Ah ok thanks, yeah if I remember 4500 times was from Wembley 1990, I think it’s on YouTube somewhere, I’d be great to hear a cleaned up version of that, Francis guitar playing on that sounds fantastic. One of the songs that sounds even better sped up with Jeff’s drumming imo

Agree with the Live Alive Quo mixing, I think DDMC, LL and HYB were taken from Wembley if I remember right, I’d like the guitars to be a bit higher in the mix, just sounds a bit lite to me.

Yeah, those three are from the Wembley, 16th December 1990 gig that was mixed to sound like the Party In The Park gig, stupidly. The vocals either had reverb added to them or the crowd mics weren't levelled properly... some vocal echo here and there also. I have the full BBC Broadcast of the Party In The Park gig, including the crew testing the equipment, band being introduced on stage by Alan Freeman(?) getting the crowd singing Happy Birthday and chant We Want Quo... both of which are audible on the VHS release, and fireworks going off after Quos set. Think I'll upload it to YouTube soon Cheers

Cheers 👍🏻
