Don't hold your breath on a new Quo album anytime soon according to this interview: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p06xpxwcFrancis is on from 1hr 13mins into this show and he says (on the subject of a new Quo album): "there's talk of it... and material around"...

Cheers Rockdoctor.
I'm listening now. And as I thought and hoped, he's also remembering the good things about Rick too. Sounds like we'll get some fun stories about the good too. Phew!
But yes, no sign of a new album soon. And whether or not they even tour next year, he doesn't know. "I've got to live that long." He said.

He‘s promoting his Solo stuff so that’s no surprise that he wasn‘t talking about a new Quo Album. Fact is: 12 Tracks are ready & recorded. I’m sure we‘ll get the news after his Solo Project... It‘s not the time to announce a new Quo Album yet....

It‘s not the time to announce a new Quo Album yet.... Did Bob Young write them all for him? Looks like he wrote a few of them. Found this description from the Amazon link. Francis Rossi, founder/lead singer/songwriter/guitarist of rock legends, Status Quo, releases a unique collaborative album, ‘We Talk Too Much’, with vocalist Hannah Rickard, from Status Quo's hugely successful 'Aquostic' and 'Aquostic II' albums. This collection of country and country rock duets - featuring brand new songs written by Rossi and Rickard along with Quo writers Bob Young and Bernie Frost - brings to mind the wonderful collaborations of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris.

Not to judge a book by its cover, but it's a typically shit, throwaway, Quo-related idea to call the album what they have.
I really have no idea why it should be called that. Is it an audio book? Is it just to plug the spoken word tour? Does it say anything about what the album is about? Is it a play on words? Is that thr best they could come up with? Am i missing something?
?
