Had a denim jacket end of the seventies/beginning of the eighties filled with patches, but never any studs.

... handsome b'stard.... doh Vain male tart!
I've always had plenty of denim in the wardrobe, but no studs. As far as footwear is concerned it has to be flat - comfort and practicality in mind always!

Joking apart - its always been pumps, or equivalent back then at least such as they are now, for me. Partly to do with being tall enough already, and not wanting to add to it - but mainly for ease of use, cheapness of cost, and of course comfort

Not in my jeans but in my long hair days I did have studs in my belt and in my bikers jacket.
Plus Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Quo, Rainbow patches etc...

The patches, the studs on wristbands, the 'ol rag blues, the denim & leather, even a bandoleer (had to look that one up).
Sadly the headmaster didn't agree with my dress sense, so I changed.
(Also the pupils I teach were making fun of me.)

Vanity, oh yes.... Cut me hair every 6th week just to keep it looking Gorgeous, footwear went from platforms to sneakers rather quickly, preferably white, to match the faded denims. I used to boil them jeans in a huge saucepan, to my mum's dispair... Got any lacquer?
