Its been years since I heard it and I'd forgotten how good it is..... Nice flowing rhythm guitars and the keyboards in the second verse really adds to the moody feel of the song.

I really like this track too. A very different style for them but I think they pulled it off nicely.

I think it's flawed. I really quite like it, then you get to the wierd and horrible "take me away" mid section.

I am probably one of very few FF fans who never minded Tango at all. It's a nice little song somehow (except for that middle part where the lyric starts with "captured my heart..." as far as I am concerned that could have been left out MrWaistcoat I like Pennsylvania Blues tonight but indeed wish the verses would have been more like the chorus

Francis seems to like that melancholy in some tracks, the way he likes rainy days!
A track that would have sat well enough on his solo (ish) albums but I suspect the majority of long term Quo fans felt a bit bamboozled by 'Thirsty Work'.
Can still remember at Wembley Arena in the mid 90s when Francis asked the crowd " who has bought the new album?" and he received a fairly muted response. He seemed genuinely surprised and had the hump about the lack of interest and said something along the lines of "..I thought that was what you lot wanted.."

I like Tango. It's got drive. It's not reall a Quo song, but I like it anyway.
I like Pennsylvania Blues too.
I don't necessarily want them to do these live, but I still like them.

A bit like if a child was asked to write a song in a minor key.
It was my favourite off a bad album for years, but prefer to leave it alone these days.

The beginning was nicked from Steve Miller's Lost in Space. The middle bit is dreadful.

I liked the track the first time I heard it. It's one of those songs that's really good from Quo Lite, when you're in the mood for that style of rock. But it's not Quo. Totally different band.
