Thanks for sharing Viv. I had a look online to find out more about the man reviewing our band. He's a member of Wings of Pegasus, a hard rock band formed in 2009 and they were inspired by Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Van Halen and Bon Jovi. wingsofpegasusband.com/bio--2I didn't mind the review but "reliable", "well rehearsed", "tight" - I don't remember going to gigs for that. Damning with faint praise comes to mind. That was the 84 EOTR gig and nothing like the gigs you'll see now. Sigh. On well, at least they reviewed them. This is who they are.

Yes the 'well rehearsed' comments were a bit annoying but to be fair, I think he realised he hadn't put it very well and tried to dig himself out of the hole. I think that he meant the songs and dynamics had been developed as a unit through the constant playing together (the magic circle). They all knew what they were doing, playing their parts with conviction to create a perfect groove but that didn't mean it was going to be sterile and note perfect. As for the guy himself, nice to see a youngster stuck in the 70's and I'm glad he reviewed one of their older videos rather than anything current!

I think you'll find he's stuck in the 80s according to his website. Maybe that's why he chose the 84 gig and not a 70s one.
