Amazing photos from the front row! Those were the glory days. ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ Yesss!! My first ever gig - I'll never forget it! WHERE did you get the photos Luke? I still have my ticket stub, 6 Pounds Irish (back in the days before 'Punts') to see all those bands! [Possibly not a popular thing to say on here, I dunno, but Judas Priest were f***in' Brilliant too! - afaik, their last European gig with Les Binks on drums]

It was a forum of people talking about gigs they have been too throughout the years. Got some from Dublin National Stadium, 8th Nov. 1977 also

Good times I have to say that not only are the crowd right up to the band and almost eye level (take note Glasgow Apollo and other audiences), they don't look exactly like a Quo crowd from the 1970s. Especially the last photo!

Anyone noticed that the "Insecure little show off's" backed themselves against any support act.I remember Noddy Holder talking about being on the same bill as Quo in the 70's "You had to be on it if Quo were about".

All so memorable photos of the very loud Quo from the 70โs but really appreciate the 4th photo with Alan in silhouette.

Judas Priest got told off for riding a motor bike on Quo's stage. Yep - have to admit that was a bit corny at the time [still is, come to think of it!]

Regarding that National Stadium gig...despite the name, it's actually a really small venue (I saw Journey in there once, their gear was just about squeezed in)...it's quite odd that Quo were playing somewhere so intimate in '77....and the gig does indeed look very strange!

[Hope these pics come out ok - 1st time I've upped any here! ] *World Tour 1979 - 80* Possibly quite rare to have a badge saying that considering they didn't tour throughout 1980 in the end

Everyone has played there. Majority of big bands have anyways. No where else to do them back then RDS wasn't open at the time I don't think. ABBA may have done the first gig there in the Hall in 79 Plus, those gigs were always "warm up" gigs
