Great song, just a shame it's never been pulled off well live, other than when they played it in '81.
When it gets played too fast, it just loses its groove.
The song does have an ending after it fades out and can be heard on a playback performance on French tv, which also includes live vocals.

The mix sounds better on that version also, especially the bassline... never noticed it's complexity before now but it adds to the track as literally all of Alan's basslines do

Liked it when it came out. But now it sounds so lightweight and very dated.
Maybe it’s the live version that was not great that’s put me off.

Shit they really got greedy.

This was one of those tracks that finally did it for me - never liked it then and I doubt I ever will like it now. Oh No ! moment when they first played it live. Not a fan of it at all .
