I saw this guy play on Sunday. I'd never heard of him and a friend had bought tickets and offered me one. From the blurb I read before I went, I thought I was going to see someone similar to Bob Dylan and who played folk music. When I arrived, the audience were mainly older. So I expected someone who was really good but never quite made it. And I was quite wrong. He was this young Swedish guy, 24 and his fabulous band who were all from Gothenburg. And he was more like Springsteen and country rock which I really enjoyed. Have you heard of them anyone? Whoppa Choppa? This last solo one has a Dylanesque quality. He said that he learnt a lot from Dylan bootlegs. And I assumed he meant recording from the 60s. And then he said they were from 2005.

Will look for him! Thanks!

Nice one, CG ! I never heard of him before. Listened to the songs and was pleasantly surprised. Always nice to discover new good music It's also one of those where I don't mind the country influences.

He's only in his mid 20s but sounds much older due to his influences and deep voice.
