Interesting... whilst I'm not a fan of horror, the setting, theme and period appeal to me.
These ancient sea stories are clearly in at the moment. I happened to read today that the BBC have a 4 or 5 part adaptation of a book called North Water also set in the Arctic, same period but about whaling. Released next year.

Some mild horror. Cool, sounds like my kind of thing. Until the zombies appear - this is The Walking Dead channel after all. Just kidding, sort of. I noticed online when I looked this show up that they're thinking of this as a replacement for TWD. Tis all I mean.
