We're not mugs though, are we? Never heard the song until now but yes, not one for me either. And not worth all the dosh asked for in the link. Or the mystery story that you get with the song.

I quite like the track itself, and it was in the set for a while during the RTYD tour...
Was a planned single, as you can see from that link but was dropped for Rock Til You Drop. The single was pressed but got destroyed when it was cancelled, but there are a few still in existence that go for a lot

It sounds like it comes from a 50 odd track album that was released in instalments between 1988/2009.

There are many SQ songs that make we wince , this isn’t one of them. Don’t think any ever made me angry, although Sail Away probably should have done!
Quite liked it at the time. Always liked the line “I’m moving on if it’s the same to you, too late for me, too late for you” and used to wonder who it was as aimed at.

It doesn't make me angry - It's just like the vast majority of the post-81 Quo album tracks ( particularly the Rossi/Frost "fillers" ) - half-hearted, anaemic and instantly forgettable....

As far as fakin' the blues goes, never minded the song either, not one of their top tracks, but there are much worse tracks then that

I think this is one of Rossi/Frost's better ones, structurally. In fact I thought someone else wrote it till I looked it up

Agree with Victor, I think there are worse songs from that era. As for making me angry, I think Again and Again made me angry but by this time, I think I'd gone past caring..... Actually though, I did get angry with the Anniversary Waltz......

Love this song.
One of my favourite Quo albums is Rock Til you Drop.
And the swing then into the shuffle before the final bit of singing in 4500 Times is one of my favourite bits of music in any song.
The guitars sound great and it’s nice and heavy, with depth

I was 4 when that aired. Remember watching it. Apparently, I was brought to the gig a few nights later. There's a pic of me "at it." I call bullshit tbh
The Song... I don't mind it.. I like it.
It just doesn't compare to anything from before 1981...or, 1983 tbh

This didn’t happen. In my universe the band split up in 1981. Angry, well no.
Rick and Francis forming a band with a group of session musicians. Now that made me angry. Never got over it.
