Does anybody have this bootleg of the Ain't Complaining (originally titled The Fighter) album prior to it being released? There is a bootleg site and the person that runs it has an email contact but I've tried to get in touch with them twice now to no avail... He also has a grade quality 5 version of Recorded Delivery which I would love to get my hands on. By chance, does anybody know the owner of the site? www.freewebs.com/quolive/Much Appreciated

good luck if you do manage to get hold of it as would be interesting to hear how it sounded before it turned into the 80's disaster which it is.

Not sure it's a demo as in different recordings, just a different track listing, but the same mastered tracks as we know them. Wasn't "The Greatest Fighter" on there with a couple of tracks that became B-sides instead?

Ain't complaining has a drum intro, Magic has the original unproduced vocals, some tracks have diff. mixes" Not sure about the track listing though as he doesn't have that stated

The demo for the fighter: it started out as a boogie shuffle, and not a good one. I used to have a copy but once I heard it I didn't want to hear it again. The finished version is far better
I remember asking Mike Hrano why Mike Tyson was on the cover of the BB singles. "Because of the fighter" was the answer

I actually quite like this track, needs to lose the 80's feel as do others from around that time, but I've always loved the chorus if nothing else at least.
Could have been a hit for someone, Quo or otherwise and should have been named Tumbling On.

I had somebody put it onto a cassette for me along with calling the shots and Getting Better. Needless to say I was underwhelmed! Back in those day "The Quo man" even advertised in the classifieds section of the rock press. Loads of hardcore fans then, loads of traders.
